Buddy Class

We were really excited to meet Our Buddy Class - Room 17. They are fabulous buddies. They are helping us learn to read our reading books and alphabet cards. They are also helping us to learn to read and write the words on our word cards. Below are some photos of us working with our buddies.

Fun at Soccer

We had lots of fun learning new soccer and ball skills.

We are pretending to be kangaroos and we are jumping with the balls.

We are running really fast like cheetahs and dribbling the soccer balls.

Our First Day at School

Look at us. We are gorgeous and we are ready to be amazing Sunnybrae Learners. Below you can see some of the exciting learning that we did on our first day at school.

We Can do Anything!

We listened to the story 'I Can Do Anything!' Then we went outside to explore playground. Tomorrow we are going to write sentences about all the amazing things that we could do.

Fabulous Readers

 We are learning to point carefully to each word, to look at the pictures and to get our mouths ready to make the  first sound. We are so proud of ourselves! We are fabulous readers!

Puzzles

We had lots of fun doing some of our classroom puzzles. Some of them we found tricky but we kept on trying and worked together to complete them. We are so clever!

Roles and Responsibilities

Our first topic for this term is Roles and Responsibilities. We are learning about how we can be great friends and fabulous Sunnybrae Learners. We listened to the story 'The Rainbow Fish' and we talked about about how The Rainbow Fish was a good friend because he shared his beautiful glittering scales with the other fish. We have started to create our own fish. We think they are going to look gorgeous.
